Professional History
Before coming to Bristol Eastern High School, I taught middle school in the South Bronx, working in a bilingual school; then I worked as a long term sub at Staples High School in Westport, CT. I have been working at Bristol Eastern High School since the fall of 1998 and serving as the Chairman of Social Studies since 1999.
In addition to my work in Bristol, I am a Faculty member at the University of Phoenix teaching on their online campus.
Academic History
I attended the University of Hartford as an undergraduate, with a double major in Secondary Education and Political Science with a minor in History. I returned to the University of Hartford to complete my Masters in Education with a major in Educational Technology. Finally I attended Central Connecticut State University to complete my Sixth Year Certificate in Educational Leadership.
Personal History
While I am originally from the New York City area, I have enjoyed living here in Central Connecticut. I am married with a young son who every day amazes me. I truly enjoy travelling; I have a goal to visit all 7 continents in my lifetime. The map below shows all the places I have already been.
